The 2010 Event
Location
The event is held in the parking lot behind the office building
on the North East Corner of Yonge St. and Mulock Dr. in Newmarket.
There is parking under the hydro wires enter from Mulock Dr.
The event entrance is from the Yonge St side of the building.
Event Activities
- bouncy castle, giant slide, maze, obstacle course, face painting, popular cartoon characters,
- FREE BBQ lunch
- Valuable health and wellness information
- FREE quality tote “loot bags” filled with info, valuable offers and coupons, snacks and fun kid items for the first 750 children!
- ChildFind will be offering their KidCheck Safety Program
Health & Wellness
- Dr Darren Poncelet will be offering FREE posture checks for all children
- An opportunity to meet a variety of health professionals and learn about how they can help children and families achieve optimal health. Children's Dentist, Naturopathic Doctor, Alternative Practitioner and Registered Massage Therapists!
Safety in the Community
- St Johns Ambulance Therapy Dogs
- York Region Police will be offering safety information
- York Region Fire Services will be giving tours of their fire truck
- York Region EMS will be educating children on safety and emergencies
Prizes
- HUGE prize draw of over 100 prizes for kids who complete an event passport and visit 7 different wellness and safety stations.
